After finishing an upgrade of some plugins, I was thinking about how awesome the past couple months have been. From hanging with my hacker friends in San Diego and Nashville, to reuniting with my nerdcore friends in Pensacola, East Lansing, and Cincinnati; my life has been pretty great.
Playing shows is one of my favorite things to do. I love rapping, and I love meeting people. Nothing major there, true; but the fact that people appreciate, enjoy, and support the music that we make in our spare time is a reality with which I may never come to terms. c64 and I really are just two guys who happen to like both technology and music; and it is an indescribably awesome feeling to know that other people enjoy our take on it, and share in it with us.
We are lucky to have such phenomenal fans and to be surrounded by such genuinely fantastic people. Thank you for making everything so amazing!
If you saw us at Defcon or Ohio LinuxFest, you know that we now have official Dual Core shirts. Thanks to the power of internet, you will soon be able to have your very own Dual Core shirt! More details to come soon as I am just finalizing all of the logistics on shipping options, etc.
It’s July and we are planning to release our 4th album, Next Level, this month. I am really really excited about it so we made this video to share with you. Hope you dig it :]
A really awesome write-up of our show at SELF has been posted by my good friend Z of Hipster, please! Both Remy and I had a great time hanging out with Z and Josh (Z’s best-friend, and all-around cool guy). The anecdotes of the evening are better relayed by Z, as he is quite a talented writer.
The post also contains some 0day information about our upcoming album, as well as some sweet video footage. Check it out :]
