“Running” is not a title I ever expected to select for a post, but it’s pertinent. Last weekend, c64 ran a 10k in Manchester with his girlfriend. They both finished at right around an hour time, and were running to raise money for cancer research. He’s tracked his progress over the course of his training on http://runmcr.wordpress.com, if you’re interested.
Additionally in May, my former boss, Mike Schuetter, ran an entire marathon in Cincinnati. He was running to raise money for Ohio Valley Voices, a school geared toward improving the lives of children with hearing impairments. He’s got a synopsis of the marathon along with some pictures featuring a custom t-shirt he made on http://ovvrunner.blogspot.com/. Notice the ipod playing Next Level drawn on the sleeve :]
I also started running at the park recently, but then remembered why I wasn’t running before — I’m a computer nerd and my knee hurts. Get off my lawn.
While at Nerd Invasion, John S. La Valle shot and edited a video for us of the song Forever. The quality looks pretty sharp, and there are over 9000 cameos. Happy Twenty-Ten :]

I have them. Lots of them, apparently.
After finishing an upgrade of some plugins, I was thinking about how awesome the past couple months have been. From hanging with my hacker friends in San Diego and Nashville, to reuniting with my nerdcore friends in Pensacola, East Lansing, and Cincinnati; my life has been pretty great.
Playing shows is one of my favorite things to do. I love rapping, and I love meeting people. Nothing major there, true; but the fact that people appreciate, enjoy, and support the music that we make in our spare time is a reality with which I may never come to terms. c64 and I really are just two guys who happen to like both technology and music; and it is an indescribably awesome feeling to know that other people enjoy our take on it, and share in it with us.
We are lucky to have such phenomenal fans and to be surrounded by such genuinely fantastic people. Thank you for making everything so amazing!
