Dual Core

SXSW 2011 has been a blast and it’s started only just.  Lo Tech picked me up from the airport, and we eventually ended up walking around downtown Austin.  Snipe messaged me to advise (demand?) stopping by BSidesAustin.  One thing lead to another, and next thing I know I was rapping for an awesome crowd of my security colleagues including Jayson Street, Keith Casey, and @diami03.

Good times were had, freestyles were created, and albums were sold.  We then went to the icanhascheezburger party and Microsoft (Bing) bought us drinks the whole time we were there.  Lo Tech also snagged a plush Happy Cat from the party (pictured above).

After that we bar hopped for a bit and then called it a night.  It was such a blast meeting and hanging out with everyone!

tl;dr: SXSW 2011 is off to a phenomenal start!  Phenomenal, I say (patent pending — inside joke)

We had such a good time at the Hak5 5-Year Anniversary, that we jumped at the chance to play another show.  This time we are celebrating the start of Season 9 as well as the relocation of the cast to SF.  Details are above, also on this Facebook event page where to please RSVP now please kthx

We are playing out the first ever Indiana LinuxFest on Saturday, March 26th.  The after-party is at 6PM, and I wouldn’t be surprised if there is even more rapping after that.  Joining us will be our good friends Shammers and Lefthand!  Details will be available at ILF.

We are showcasing at SXSW this year!  Swing by Flamingo Cantina on Tuesday for a whole line-up of fun music:

I don’t want to give away too much, but we are also rapping in sets with the Thought Criminals, MegaRan, and Frontalot.  Bring your rap hands.

We will be performing at CNET’s Buzz Out Loud taping and meetup at SXSW on Sunday, March 13th!  There will be drinks, tacos, churros, and special guests Pete Cashmore and Felicia Day.  The BOL hosts Brian Tong and Molly Wood will be running the show.  Also appearing will be Amanda French and stars of the new CBS show, Chaos.
